Personal Air Purifier with USB - NEW - Gold
Wearable Air cleaner with USB
Q1: How does the personal necklace air purifier work?
A: Our air purifier emits negative ions from the little black brush that you see at the top of the unit. Over 5 million negative ions are emitted from that brush every second. These negative ions attach themselves to air particles like allergens, viruses, etc. in the air and negatively charge those particles. Those negatively charged particles will then be naturally attracted to positively charged surfaces around you (e.g. a table, chair, window, clothes, etc.), rather than continuing their way towards your breathing passage where they can make you sick. Result: The air purifier reduces the probability that you will inhale these bad particles and become ill.
Q2: Can the air purifier purify cigarette smoke from the air?
A: Yes. The air purifier with smoke in test labs since smoke particles are so small and represent a great test particle. The air purifier is very effective at reducing smoke from a person’s breathing space. However, the air purifier IS NOT a room air purifier – it is meant to clean the air around your head – about a 3 foot sphere is a good benchmark. The further your face is away from the air purifier, the fewer ions will reach your breathing space, so we recommend hanging it from your neck and using the adjustable lanyard to adjust the length so the air purifier is positioned in the upper part of your chest.
Q3: How long will the personal Air purifier last?
mAhA: 200 lithium battery, 6 + hours of use on one charge.
Q4:What are negative ions? Are they good for you?
A: Negative ions (air molecules with extra electrons) are electrically charged particles in the air that remove airborne contaminates and have been shown to have a rejuvenating effect upon our bodies. The best natural generator of negative ions is lightning, followed by ocean surf, waterfalls, mountains and forests. In clean, natural air, you’ll find the highest concentrations of negative ions. In polluted cities and confined spaces, like offices, you’ll find the highest concentrations of unhealthier positive ions.
Q5: Will my personal necklace air purifier interfere with electronic equipment (e.g. computers, cell phones)?
A:No. The carry air purifier meets FCC regulations for harmful interference with radio communications so you may use it by your computer, audio players, etc. without causing any unusual interference problems. Pacemaker patients should not use without first consulting with their physician.
Q6: Does the produce dangerous levels of ozone?
A:No. The carry air purifier produces an extremely small amount of ozone - only 4.4 parts per billion. The EPA limit on acceptable ozone emission is 50 parts per billion.
Q7: What is the carry air purifier effective range?
A:Air within a 3' range of the unit will be effectively cleaned.
